Too busy to worry about customers

Went to Gateway restaurant yesterday for breakfast. Got there at 08:20 or so and the place was fairly deserted. Sat there for 10 minutes with no service in sight. On way out spoke to the manager who was sitting reading the newspaper but wasn't overly concerned that we were leaving. Waiters were all at the back doing who knows what. The table we sat at had not been cleaned. Problem with this place is that the waiters are too lazy to attend to customers who want to sit at the mezzanine floor tables. I did complain on mugg & bean website but of course that was ignored too. Business is obviously very good!.
