Terrible Food on my Birthday

Saturday the 19th May 2018 was my birthday, so my boyfriend took me out for lunch. We went to Mugg and Bean (Musgrave Centre). We ordered 2 meals of Rump Steak with Vegetables & Salads and 2 cans. 1st issue we had, when we were given glasses with ice, my boyfriend ordered Sprite and it appeared that ice cubes were dirty it had some grass on it therefore we called for a waiter who gave as a new drink and glass. 2nd issue was food, it was terrible my steak I couldn't even cut it, the veggies looks terrible as if they took it out of the fridge steamed and served I mean ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I tried eating but I couldn't again I called for a waiter, who took back the food. My boyfriend continued eating but he was also disgusted by the food. I was given an option of ordering another meal, which I decided to just go for a simple Beef Burger, experienced the problem with the burger again it seemed like they took the roll out of the fridge and over-reheated it . It was completely dry, tried several times to cut it but it was to hard/dry. Again I called for our waiter and I was so angry and irritated by the service all I wanted was a bill and leave. They still made us pay about R200 something for such terrible food claiming that the discount was given, the only think we should have paid for were drinks only!!! I told myself that I will never go to Mugg and Bean Musgrave or any other after such an experience on my Birthday. The food there is absolutely terrible.
