Surprised at Terrible Quality and Service from Mugg and Bean - Mall of the South

My partner and I always use Mugg and Bean where ever we are, and have noticed a drastic change in the quality of service and food from Mugg and Bean Mall of the South in December period.

A few days before Christmas we had staff that took forever to serve us and bring our meals. When we did receive out meals i.e. one breakfast and one burgher, everything looked distasteful; oily and overcooked. Partners burgher was burnt, my breakfast was all drooping oil and my milkshake had some plastic thing in it. When complaining to the waitress it took her a while to register we were unhappy. She eventually called the manager and he didn't seem concerned. He looked at the plastic found, and the burnt and oily meal as if nothing was wrong. We asked what has happened to the Quality of Mugg and Bean. He just apologized. My partner had to ask if we could get a new milkshake and only then was this made.

Last weekend we bought a Carrot Cake take away as Fornos was closed. On arriving at home, my partner opened the cake. It was stale, hard and old. Had a taste and threw it away. Very disappointing as Lemon Meringue and Carrot Cake was a favorite.

Very disgusted at the whole experience at Mugg and Bean Mall of the South. We know this is not the service overall however if the same service is going to be experienced there, then its best Mugg and Bean Mall of the South closes down instead of delivering poor service and terrible unhealthy quality of food.
