Stale Cake
<p>The day before yesterday I decided to treat myself to a piece of baked cheesecake at Mugg and Bean Jean Crossing, Centurion. I specifically asked if it was fresh because I dont want to pay R50 for a small, stale piece of cake and M&B is always assuring they serve especially large portions. Upon my order arrival, it was a small piece with the one side stale from where the previous slice was cut but the seal to prevent it from drying out was not placed so it was dry and stale on the one side. So I sent it back only to have a smaller piece returned witht the exact same problem on the other side. I called for the manager and explained and she offered me a slice of blueberry cheesecake, which I dont eat. All I wanted was this famous sized portion of FRESH plain baked cheesecake. I will have to look for another place to replace M&B as my favourite cheeesecake shop.</p>
