Serving alcohol to under aged kids

I just collected my 16 year old son from Irene Mall in Pretoria. He and a few of his friends went to the mall to spend some time together like all teenagers do. As he got into the car i could smell alcohol in him breath. Eventually he confessed that they were served alcohol at the Mugg & Bean. I confronted the manager as the owner wasn't there. He started by confronting my son instead of accepting responsibility for following proper procedure as spelled out in the terms and conditions of their liquor license. He responded to me by saying he is not allowed to ask for and ID. I interrupted him by saying that the law provides that he can insist on identification if it is suspected that the person ordering liquor is under aged. This is simply not acceptable and all parents should take note....<br> <br> I look forward to Mugg & Bean head office's response.
