Panorama restaurant has declined in quality

Mugg and Bean - Panorama, JHB South

After numerous bad experiences, I decided to write this review:

This past weekend, we visited the restaurant after having boycotted it a while ago due to bad service. Upon arrival, we were taken to a table which was still dirty, and the table was cleaned halfheartedly with a smelly cloth. Nonetheless we sat down and proceeded to wait 15 minutes until our drinks order was taken. Because we know how long the food takes to arrive, we decided to order our food at teh same time we ordered drinks. Our drinks arrived 10 minutes later and our food 45 mins after we had ordered. The restaurant was not busy at the time. The waiter then arrived and because there was not boerewors, took the liberty to substitute it for different sausages on both our plates without asking. We then had to ask for basics like salt which was not on the table. The omelette I had was just a fried egg folded, with all the toppings chucked on top. This was the worst omelette I had ever seen.

In our previous visit, I was ready to pay after eating, and the waiter then informed me the machine was not connecting to enable card payments. He then walked away and about 10 minutes later (Not exaggerating) I looked around and found him at the counter where he was packing cutlery into a tray. I asked what he was doing and he said no he decided to do something else because the machines were not working. he then said he will walk with me to the atm to draw cash. After I lost it, the manager then brought out another machine and payment was completed.

Other general issues: Toilets - The toilets in this restaurant are really terrible. Smell of urine and generally in a bad condition. makes you lose your appetite immediately.

Card machines - every time I have come here, there seems to be a 10 minute delay when paying because the card machines never work.

Safety - The ceiling in this restaurant is literally busy falling down. its cracked and on the verge of hurting someone in the near future.

I rated the restaurant down on the app and sent an email to info@muggandbean to complain and I had received no response hence my post here.
