Need bowel movements? Eat a Mexican platter here.
Hungry on Sunday, I ate at Mug and Bean and tried their Mexican Platter. It looked real good on the menu. Firstly the presentation was very bad, it looked like everything was just thrown into the plate at random. I tried a Chicken Wing. The first one I did not even taste as I was ravenous. It did leave a weird aftertaste in my mouth but I wrote that off as the flavor/spices may be just different from what I am used to. I bit into the second piece, and the taste was still a bit weird, I smelled the chicken before trying a next bite and it was not very pleasant and put it aside. I took another piece and pulled it apart and smelled it. O.M.G. it was as rotten as a piece of chicken could be, it smelled like it was left in the sun for a few days. I pushed my food aside and ordered a refill of my coffee. The coffee had a layer of oil on top, If I wanted to make money I could have sold it off as Brent Crude. The manger was kind enough to admit there was a problem with the chicken and did not charge me for my coffee and gave me a R20 discount on my Rotten Chicken. Keep it! I pay for my food, a discount does not stop Diarrhea and Nausea. I will never ever go back to a Mug and Bea
