My mom being asked whether she paid

This afternoon I dropped my mom and aunt in Canal Walk, for a lunch date. They chose to go to Mugg n Bean, BAD MOVE. They were served, had their lunch, paid, and walked into the mall. Little did they know that they were being followed by a waitress. She stopped them while inside Stuttafords, and asked \mama, did you pay\". No greeting, no apology, straight to the reason why she was following them. My mom asked her to repeat herself, she responded \"mama, manager ask me to ask you, did you pay\". Still my mom could not understand. They walked back to the store, again the manager asked \"lady, did you pay? I cant seem to find your receipt\"<br> Why would they allow them to walk out the store without paying? Had my mom not had proof of payment, what would have happened? My mom is soo humiliated being singled out, and followed to Stuttafords for payment!!!
