Mugg n Bean hours decided by waiters

Yesterday we rushed to our closest Mugg N Bean (Mall of the South) for a quick takeaway after making sure they were open. Business hours were stated they would be open until 6pm. We arrived at 17:20 and a waiter would not seat us and when I said were just here for a takeaway he said sorry the kitchen was already closed. What kind of service is this? To be told 40 minutes before closing time that the kitchen was already closed. Mugg n Bean Mall of the South... this isn't the service we are used to with this establishment.
