Mugg & Bean Rotten Food

On Sunday the 2nd of March 2025, I was at King Shaka International Airport, and visited their Mugg & Bean outlet for breakfast. We ordered, as the food arrived, something tasted off from my plate, it had that sour, fermented smell and taste. Initially, I thought something was wrong with my palate. I then smelled it again, I could determine that it was the sweet potato that was off, I had to have my companion smell it, and they also confirmed that it was off.

I called the waitress that was assisting us, she took away the plate, then the manager came to apologise and informed me that something must have gone wrong with their fridge overnight as the sweet potato had been prepared the previous night and kept in the fridge.

After settling the bill I felt a rumbling tummy which immediately sent me to the bathroom. It was a ********** experience to have at such a reputable restaurant.
