Mugg & Bean Newmarket, Alberton. Disgusting lunch.

We went to Mugg & Bean today, after not being there for a while. We ordered our favourite lunchtime dish - chicken livers in Chipotle sauce. Absolutely disgusting! It should be advertised as chicken livers in "goodness knows what sauce"! It certainly wasn't Chipotle. Totally bland, tasteless, and devoid of salt. Some of the livers were burned! To top that disaster off, we had ordered two Coke Zeros (300ml) and, when the bill came, we saw we had been charged R68.00 for these two drinks! Outrageous! I know eating out is not cheap, and we certainly don't mind paying for quality. However, the "meals", and I use that term very loosely, were certainly not worth what we paid. The cost of the drinks ..... well that's just not on. I approached the manager after paying the bill and told her our thoughts. I also mentioned that she should be wearing a mask, as she being the M & B representative, had just committed "daylight *******". We voted with our feet and will certainly never return.
