Mugg and Bean Bloemfontein airport disaster

Sunday 1July 2023 I flew from Bloemfontein to Cape Town. As Mugg and Bean are the only eatery at Bram Fischer airport, I found myself a table against the window. I had to wait some four hours for my flight so was not in a hurry, however, after 30 minutes of been ignored I stood up and called a watron. I ordered a milkshake and chicken mayo on wholewheat. My milkshake arrived quickly. After 30 minutes my chicken mayo arrived. It was not whole wheat but Pick n Pay cheap Brown bread. I asked the watron where my wholewheat bread was. She said that they had run out. I asked why I had not been informed she just shrugged her shoulders and left. The bread looked like it had been run through a toaster at high speed. There were a few chips on the plate that looked and tasted horrible. The chicken was dry and tasteless. There was no garnish on the plate not even a piece of tomato. R87-00 for this disgusting meal. There was no Manager to complain to. I had to ask three times for the bill. From entering to pay took 2 and a half hours. Clearly having the monopoly at the airport, service and quality are not top of mind from Mugg and Bean
