Misleading Information & Poor Service at Mugg & Bean Cradlestone

I regularly buy cupcakes at other Mugg & Bean branches where they’re always available. At Cradlestone Mall, however, I was told by a waitress that cupcakes were discontinued. The manager later admitted they do bake them – but only in very small quantities.

Neither apologised for the misinformation or inconvenience. They were completely nonchalant, showing no care to satisfy me as a customer.

What makes this worse is that Mugg & Bean had a cancer awareness drive, donating R2 per cupcake to cancer initiatives. By failing to stock cupcakes properly, this branch did nothing to support the cause – definitely not coming to the party.

Unacceptable service and poor accountability.
