Lucinda is an absolute Gem!

Flying back to JHB from Cape Town Airport and I decided to grab a quick smoothie and water from the Mugg and Bean at the airport after a rough weekend of Rugby and drinking. Now in South Africa we have come to expect and accept below average service from staff. Whether it's their service or just their attitudes in general (packers at Pick n Pay come to mind here). I was greeted by Lucinda, literally the friendliest waitress I have ever had. She seated me at a table and straight away took my order for a smoothie and even recommended which one was better. I didn't ever have to look for her or ask for a menu or anything (which is what we should always receive), but she genuinely went out of her way. She had the biggest smile on her face all the time and definitely lightened my mood from sitting there in a world of pain physically and mentally from the weekend. I decided to tell her that she was very valuable and special and tipped generously. She just glowed and thanked me for blessing her Sunday. She is such a special person and I hope you look after her and pass on my thanks again please. You very seldom come across hard working genuine people but Lucinda is worth her weight in gold (cliche I know). Thank you for the great service and turning my Sunday the right way up!
