Incorrect Meal at the wrong time.

I went to Mugg n Bean Umhlanga Total Garage today and purchased 2 veg Mac n cheese pots. Note that I’m currently doing a prayer and by custom im not allowed to consume meat. As I eat I find pieces of chicken in it. And I mistakenly consumed a piece. I called the mugg n bean and the manager requested I walk back, they gave me a refund and a cheese and tomatoe sandwich but their excuse for the mixup was totally unprofessional! As I always support that mugg n bean because it is just down the road from my offices. It is against my religion to consume meat during a death of a relative and this was total unprofessional behavior from the staff! It was a veg pot.. just with chicken inside.. and that infuriates me! Please can I get closure and a logical explanation? Are the staff members not being trained? I politely accepted the refund and sandwich because I did not want to argue and make a scene in store as this issue probably stems higher than the staff employed. It still doesn’t change the fact that I consumed meat and broke my fast .
