Harassment Mug and Bean River Square Mall

I would like to bring to your attention an unpleasant experience I had at your Mug & Bean branch at River Square Mall while visiting with my daughter.

After placing our order, we were seated and talking when the manager, David Lee, approached me in an intimidating manner, asking if I had a problem and why I was taking photos of the store. I explained that I was on WhatsApp, making a banking payment, and was unsure why I was being confronted. He claimed that a waiter had reported that "table 13" was taking photos.

This interaction left me feeling harassed and intimidated, as I was not taking any photos. I asked the manager if it is store policy to prohibit taking photos. I also pointed out that if I were to check Instagram, I would likely find numerous photos taken by customers at the store.

I found his approach deeply inappropriate, especially since there is no store policy prohibiting photography, and I was not even taking photos. His behavior was intimidating and unprofessional, making me feel extremely uncomfortable during what should have been a relaxed visit.

I would appreciate it if you could address this matter with the manager and clarify whether such confrontational behavior is aligned with your company’s values. I look forward to your response and hope steps will be taken to ensure future interactions with customers are handled with respect and professionalism.
