Fly and eggs in sealed croisant

I bought a sealed croisant that the manager Nicolas had just placed on the shelf. When I got in the car I noticed there was a fly inside the sealed product. I returned it back to Nicolas who offered to make a "fresh" one. I accepted and he came back in a few minutes. I explicitly asked him if this was a fresh one with new ingredients and he confirmed. I left and did not have time to check as I was late for an appointment .

I opened it later in the morning and found fly eggs on the bacon. I went back and questioned Nicolas asking why he **** to me. He said he did not lie and he did make a fresh one. I told him he is either talking s@#t or his entire stock in the back is contaminated. I asked for my money back which he gave.

I don't believe for a second that he made me a fresh one.

I am completely disgusted that the trust the customer has in employees like this is completely abused.

Had I not seen the fly eggs I would have most likely eaten it.

It is disgusting that your clients can be treated like this.
