Extremely rude and horrible service

<p>If I could rate Mugg & Bean Bayside a 0, I would. Never in my life I have experienced such bad service.<br />The waiter Shanice was horrible. Could not get the order right which was a Farmhouse breakfast with white toast and eggs bennidict.<br />We ordered a slice of carrot cake to take away, they gave half a slice with holes in it as if eaten from it. Sent it back for a new slice.<br />When the coffe came, the waitress brought hot milk instead of cold, also not too big of a deal.<br />When the breakfast came, 40 mins later, she did not bring any preserves or butter/margarine.<br />After 5 mins my husband had to go ask for butter and preserves.<br />This was then brought in a plastic cup.<br />When we took the toast to spread it, one was brown and the one was white.<br />The white slice was clearly yesterdays toast as it was spread again and toasted and as hard as a rusk.<br />I then asked for the manager, he came to our table.<br />After explaining to him, he said he needs to call the manager... wth??? Next the waitress came again and i said i need the manager ...once again. Then the manager arived... I asked him if he is the manager, and immediatly he got defensive and said "why, dont you want to speak to me?".<br />I said i want to speak to the manager but he is the 3rd person now after I asked for the manager.<br />Ive explained everything to him and said I will pay for what we have eaten, half of my breakfast, a sausage and a hashbrown, but i am not going to pay for old food we havent eaten.<br />He did not apologized, walked to the till and adjusted the bill.<br />When the bill came, EVERYTHING was on it with a 15% complains discount on... really... we did not eat our food and received extremely poor service.<br />I refused to pay and left my details and said i will write about this on and inform their hq.</p> <p>I have never in my life experienced this from any restaurant and the bad attitude with it... disgusting.</p> <p>So, back to spur it was with a bill and tip of R300 with way better service and friendlyness</p>
