Excellent service

Yesterday my husband and I had lunch at the Mugg and Bean at the Blue Route Mall in Cape Town.

I was disappointed to see that the vegan options had been taken off the menu. But I understand that given our climate restaurants can no longer offer as many options, especially when the demand for vegan dishes is relatively small.

I was, however, pleased to see that of the 2 non - dairy milk options Mugg & Bean offers, soya milk is free and almond milk is an additional R10. Since it is more expensive than dairy milk the standard practice is to add an additional charge for all non dairy milk.

Our waiter was a delightful young man named Richmore who went out of his way to suggest items I could put together so that I could have a vegan meal.

We had a very enjoyable time and much of that was due to the excellent service we received.
