Disgusting and Appaling service: Plettenberg Bay

I send an email on 19 July 2023

And only today I recieved a call from the restaurant in Plettenberg Bay

Just to be told by the Manager that he invites me back for a free coffee

And after consulting with the owner they invite me back for a free coffee

What an insult and joke

It was never about getting a free meal I can pay for my meals

It's an insult and a slap in the face Its about customer service and customer satisfaction And treating all your clients the same

The only thing that makes sense to me now after the service and response from the manager and owner is that if you are not white in Plettenberg Bay you shouldnt expect service.

All the white clients where served before us and were very satisfiedand full of smiles when they left and they left before us yet the all came in after us

How pathetic and sad is that for Mugg and Bean in 2023 to treat their clients like this

I will never visit a Mugg and Bean for as long as I live and I will make sure everyone know the service you will get at Plettenberg Bay.

You should be ashamed of yourself that, that is the memory that will stay with my 8yr old daughter for as long as she lives

We visited family in Plettenberg Bay 7-9 July and decided to have a girls day out on Friday and start at Mugg and Bean which is our favourite restaurant.

To our great dissapointment.

After spending over R700 my 8yr old daughter said mommy we should've gone to KFC instead cayse she needed to eat and we waited so long for our food. Really that was very bad service from the waiter and restaurant. We waited extremely long for our food. People who seated after us had their meals and left and when our food did arrive it was cold and nothing like in the pictures on the menu. My sister in law was so unhappy with the tiny portions, again not what we are use to in your restaurant. This ruined our whole day as we were so disappointed and saddened. This is not the mugg and bean we know and have been loyal clients off for so many years. Respectfully Mrs L Afrika-Peters
