Disappointing service and quality of food

<p>Mugg And Bean is usually known for its high quality standards, but yesterday I was utterly disappointed in the service and quality of the food served at Mugg And Bean Potchefstroom. A friend and I both ordered stacked flapjacks, when the waiter brought the order it was thick,raw and half burnt. I was baffled at the fact that the kitchen would even allow meals like that to pass through or that anyone could even serve food like that. We told the waiter that we were not satisfied and that it was unedible, he then called his manager who promised to have new ones made. When the second batch came it didn't even look presentable, far from what it looks like on the menu. It looked liked s****s that were just threw on a plate, it was cracked and falling apart, the consistency of the dough wasn't even right. It was dry to the point where you would struggle to get it dow. I told the waiter that I was very disappointed and asked for the bill where he then said we'd only have to pay for the drinks and that, I quote ''we cannot pay for such food''. After I though it had been settled another manager furiously approached us, defensively arguing that there is nothing wrong with the flapjacks because she had personally made it as she had worked at the ''grill'' for three years now. She agreed that the first order was raw and that's why she had decided to make the second one. I asked her very subtly if that really looks right to her and she furiously and continuously demanded that we pay for the meal. She spoke very rudely. I did not appreciate the manner and tone in which she spoke to us. The entire situation was not handled well and I do not wish to ever go back for that matter.</p>
