Disappointing drop in standards at Mugg and Bean

<p>Visited Bayside Mugg and Bean for a coffee and toasted sandwich breakfast. The coffee was just awful - watery and tasted of the water scale that builds up in the coffee urns - had to send one back as it was really undrinkable - and I'm not fussy about my coffee. The chicken mayo toasted sandwich was mediocre and cold, as were the fries which were not rosemary-salted as advertised. I've had similarly disappointing experiences recently at the Cavendish branch too: dry ****in, bland eggs Benedict with yolk not as requested. It's not right that one pays a lot of money for this. I suspect it's a management issue - with the owners getting rich while allowing the quality to slip - an all too common theme nowadays. Mugg and Bean is finished for me - going elsewhere in future.</p>
