CRAMPS & RUNNY TUMMY IN THE AM: TKS TO MUGG & BEAN @SHELLEY BEACH CENTRE

My daughter and ate @ Mugg & Bean in Shelley Beach Centre yesterday, 13-12-2019 @ 2-3 pm, ordered 2 chicken Quesadillas, strawberry cheesecake to share, 1 cappuchino & 1 filter coffee. At the moment it's after 12 midnight, and I'm rolling around in pain not being able to sleep. The runny tummy started 3-4 hours after I ate there, and the cramps are never ending. This agony is the reason I’m typing a review at 12:40 on a Saturday morning, for the lack of being able to sleep…… The quesadillas were cut into 3 portions. 1st piece spicy sauce only+ no NO chicken, 2nd portion sauce + 1 MORSEL of chicken, 3rd piece sauce + 2 MORSELS chicken ? I found a bit of mushroom, but hardly filling to mention. On top of it all, it tasted like the sauce used was SURELY laden with MSG, AS I COULD SMELL IT A MILE OFF, MOST SAUCES ARE NOWADAYS LADEN WITH MSG WHICH IS A FACT! I ALWAYS avoid IT like the plague as I'm allergic to it [and should in ALL fairness be stated in their menu] next to the item as some are allergic to it, or the chicken sauce wasn't that fresh, or probably just reheated to many times? All in all a very bad experience in my book. Will avoid them next time and stick to safer food options in the other eateries in Shelley Beach Centre, as honestly, receiving basically spicy sauce in a wrap with hardly any chicken to be found anywhere will surely upset most people’s stomachs I think? For me personally, it’s best to avoid this particular Mugg&Bean in the future! The service was also totally lacking, as I had to wait forever for the cheesecake to arrive, the waitress simply telling me that I have to wait & that she would bring it after we ate, & waited sooo long after we ate that I had to go to the counter to enquire whether I can fetch it myself, whereupon someone had to go & call her & she said proffered an utter non sensical excuse that they had cut a peppermint tart instead of the cheesecake, what utter nonsense? The code on my bill says 117 AVIWE/TBL 30/1 CHK 5607/G2T 2 for reference. Bill printed @ 14:40pm, Cost R191.50, pd R210.00 including tip.
