Bad Service

My daughter and I had lunch at the Mugg and Bean in Longbeach Mall yesterday. We have been going there for years and always order a Monte Christo Bowl salad. When it arrived I noticed that there were only 2 strips of beef and 4 pieces of bacon in where previously the bowl had at least 6 pieces of beef and loads of bacon. I called the waiter to complain and he called the Manager who promptly told me that I was wrong and that the portion size was totally correct. He said the beef was underneath and I needed to look properly. I did look under the lettuce but could only come up with two beef strips. He then walked away without offering anything further. Furthermore when the salad arrived I asked the waiter for black pepper which never arrived. So when he brought the bill I told him I was still waiting for the black pepper and he said he couldn't find the grinder so just didn't bother. What happened to \the customer is always right"?
