Bad Manager

Good evening,<br> <br> I was at Gateway this evening and thought I'd have a 'low carb burger' at Mugg and Bean as they are the greatest. Soon after I sat down and have ordered the burger as well as a beer I realised I do not have my cards on me and only R90 (the total bill would have been R100).<br> <br> It is important to note that the service was beyond brilliant. I was served by 'Brian' and would have given him a R30 tip(which I think the manager should give him now). Not having enough money or a card there, I offered to pay via EFT. The manager did not once come to introduce himself/ herself or tried to understand the situation.<br> I then tried my best to download 'zapper' and to draw money via cardless transaction, but wasn' table to as I do not know my card numbers by heart.<br> <br> In the end I just said, please let me pay for the beer and just keep the burger. Without even coming to discuss the matter, the manager just amended the bill. This way Brian (which should be promoted as I've mentioned) only got a R3 tip (I paid R30 for a R27 bill).<br> <br> Super disappointed that a franchise reputation comes down to one bad manager.<br> Regards<br> Tinus
