POOR SERVICE

Hello All

Would like to put awareness out there for the company Much Asphalt that supply’s Tar .etc.

This is not our first time experiencing such service or similar problems and now feel it is time it gets shared.

When our office was placing a tar order for collection today 23/03/2018 was told we can be assisted and that all that needs to be sent off is a POP (Proof of Payment) nothing about immediate EFT which a PO(purchase order) was sent off to them and then to our finance department who in turn made a normal EFT payment to much asphalt which then the POP was sent off to Much asphalt, to then be told that the payment should reflect immediately as we are a cash client, now us CBS Construction know from past experience that it is usually immediate payments when we order from them but went on what was told to us via he phone call when placing the order that all that needs to be sent is a POP, in turn phone calls made back and forth to Much asphalt even speaking with the branch manager, explaining there was a miss communication in terms of the payment can they please supply us with tar as we regularly order from them and should know our payments always go through, of which no assistance was given only that they cant release tar today, branch manager in turn said we can get tar tomorrow 24/3/2018 which we then settled on even though it causes delays on our site projects, to then have gotten a call that no we cant get unless payment reflects today as no one is in their offices tomorrow by someone different, only other option given is to pay again and have a credit given to us, so now our tar can only be collected on Monday 26/3/2018 from them due to this payment with no exceptions given and our sites therefore have to stand still till then and no new work can start.

Where is the customer service in that? All that gets told is company policy this and that, then why in the first place say a POP can be sent off, knowing from past orders and that your policy is immediate payments, why not say a immediate payment must be made even if its EFT the money must be available immediately, and knowing that there was now a miscommunication in that and been a first time mistake, why not say we will release the tar this one time but please note for any future orders its always immediate payment no matter what gets said so we can note it on our side.

Yes, your company may have policy’s, all companies do but it also needs customers in order to keep it going so in turn keeping the customer happy and trying to come to a compromise that works for both sides should be the main priority, as for us as a company know that as well, if we don’t keep our clients happy we wont have a company to run?

So please much asphalt learn that customers are important, and we also have businesses to run and deadlines to meet, its either payment problems with your company or tar not been ready on time.
