I have paid my Rates account in advance as I did not receive any statements and phone calls did not help. When I eventually received a statement, my account was in credit. So I stopped paying, after calculating how long it would take for the credit balance to be worked off. I received a random statement again and found the account had a debit balance. Upon requesting back dated statements, an amount of close to R20 000 was transferrred out of my account. Have been trying to get them to respond to my enquiries ever since. No answer, no comment, no explanation. ********** transactions with no consequences.
