MTN Mobile Money a **** - took R1000 and disappeared

I have used MTN momo to renew my car license. The system is extremely slow. But my main issue is that I deposited R1000 on the 20th of Sept via normal eft to pay for the license renewal. I then realised that if I want to access the money immediately, I will have to do the direct eft via the app - which I did. However, the first R1000 never reflected in the wallet. I have now sent 5 messages to the service department - received acknowledgement for the first query (#***) - promising a response in 24 hours. After more than a month and 5 queries still no response or any sight of the money. The app itself is currently inaccessible for a few days (it was so slow that I thought it is on its last legs).
