Don't use MTN mobile money

3 weeks after receiving an international remittance via MTN mobile I am no closer to receiving my money

My bank can't trace the money so I was referred back to MTN mobile.

Firstly trying to get hold of them is a nightmare. Their 135 IVR is a royal mess which keeps cutting you off and doesn't route you through to an agent for assistance.

Today I visited a branch which very aptly could not assist me. I had to contact the ***** department which routed me through to the contracts department which finally transferred me through to the MoMo department.

When asked to trace the money I was told I couldn't be assisted because I didn't do the transfer. I wasn't asking for any personal details of the sender, I simply wanted to know where the money was after it has not shown the light of day after already being transferred on 14 July.

I will discourage every individual from using MTN mobile because they are both unreachable and unhelpful.
