Worst home-buying experience ever!!

We have an issue with M&T development regarding the fixes that need to be done to the unit before we move in as the new owners in December. M&T has confirmed in writing that the current tenants would be responsible for these fixes and pay it with their rental deposit. However, the tenants say they don't have any knowledge of this and refuse to comply. We're also not getting a response from M&T management.
