WATERFALL CREST IN MIDRAND THE WORST COMPLEX EVER

My husband was so skeptical about us moving into this hell because of the reviews but I insisted and convinced him and I cannot even describe how unhappy we are here. I will do my best to help others understand the misery that lives within these walls.

1. Just like other reviewers might have mention it the refuse area is always dirty. They only put two dustbin per block, we were told when we were moving in that they were going to receive new dustbin but 3 months down the line this never happened.

2. They will never tell you that when there is no electricity there is no hot water. I do not understand the kind of geysers they are using but as soon as the electricity is off hot water supply will stop immediately. So prepare yourself to have a cold shower in the morning if you are affected by loadshedding.

3. You are not allowed to have a braai even if you are on the ground floor. Their house rule when it comes to this is so tricky that we thought that it only app**** to people who are not on the ground floor and only have balconies. So we were very surprised to receive a fine because we were peacefully making a meal on our braai stand. If you refuse to pay that fine and advise them that you rather vacate the place because you feel like you have been played , their account administrator will start sending you threats that will take legal actions against you instead of providing you with a notice to vacate as requested by you. This is the issue we are sitting with and we are looking for a new place although we only moved here 3 months ago

4. The complex is full of youngsters and they make an incredible amount of noise by playing loud music or having very loud conversations that you can hear even when you stand inside your unit. So if you are someone that does not how to handle noise this is definitely not a place for you.

5. If you are targeting to have a ground floor appartment please be aware that their gardening services will only come to take care of your garden once a month. And when it is the raining season your garden will look like an actual bush. And when you move in those are the things they will make sure not to mention to you.

6. As other reviewers might have mentioned it. The utility company that they use is hell expensive, you will be charged for service/management fees on a daily basis. Luckily for my husband and I we have enough means so we don't really care but if you are tight on budget I will suggest you go to a place where you can have prepaid electricity, you buy your own bottle of gas etc... and only maybe pay for water. Just so you can understand how expensive it is , in our household it's only my husband and myself and per month we spend R2200 for utilities.

7. You are not allowed to have visitors after 22h00 or before 08h00. Yes you have understood it correctly so don't even try and persuade them otherwise it will be a total waste of time.

8. One of their rental agent on site is short tempered so please avoid any arguments with them , he might threaten to smash your phone on the floor just like he threathened me.

Here I am writing this review only 3 months after moving in this place it is the worse experience ever and I hope we will come out of this hell very soon.
