Stay away from M&T Development Rentals!!

I have NEVER in all my years of renting, rented from such *********** and plain out ***** people! They ***** from tenants when moving out, claiming that walls need to be repainted due to normal wear and tear marks. I find it absolutely laughable, any excuse to squeeze more money out of people.

Just to get your fingerprints registered to have access to a place you are paying to live in, will take you a good 6 months, don't expect any urgency whatsoever. There is also no access control when visitors come to the complex, I lived there for an entire year without being able to send ANYONE access codes.

There is a tenant WhatsApp group where people said they made up random 5/6 digit codes to give to visitors and security accepts it anyway. So how safe are their "security" estates really? There were break-ins reported on the group and when another tenant put up security, they were told to remove it.

Michelle that deals with Eco Park East is the most *********** person I've ever dealt with. She never replies to emails, then has the audacity to say, "I never received a response from you when I enquired about your bank details for deposit being refunded." They have had my bank details for an entire year for the debit order that is forced on you, so I don't understand why this needs to be checked. The account the deposit is paid from, is the account it should be refunded to.

Deposits are meant to be refunded within 14 days, it doesn't stipulate working days. Yet I am told I'll either get the deposit next Tuesday or Thursday. They were in breach of contract with me unable to send access codes and again with my deposit being refunded.

I urge EVERYONE, don't bother renting through these people! They are money hungry and don't give a damn about their tenant's issues.

You will also be charged exorbitant prices for hot water usage. It gets divided amongst the entire block, so if a family of 4 uses a certain amount you will be charged the exact same amount.
