Ceiling leak
I bought a new property from M & T in March 2022 and I have ceiling leak in the en-suit bathroom of my unit. The leak is coming from the two units above my unit, which are empty and owned by M & T. I reported the matter on 27 Sep on the body corporate app, they said they will come and assess the units and nothing has been done. They ceiling in my unit is close to breaking. The paint is chipping, water is dripping constantly running to the floor and now I am using a buckets to stop water from going further, the wall has bubble and it has spread to the 2nd bathroom, and the en-suit bathroom stinks. M& T must take responsibility for the units they own and fix them and fix my unit. They did shoddy workmanship when they built the units/blocks.

As per our discussion earlier this week, as I mentioned that it is not M&T’s responsibility to fix the problem. The unit in question is privately owned and we cannot intervene therefor as per the email below from Inge our Estate Agent, she has asked Inspired Management to assist you with the process in logging a complaint with CSOS, they will assist you in taking this matter further. In lieu of the above I will have to ask you and we will appreciate it if you could either change or delete the complaint on Hello Peter as M&T have tried to help and assist where we could. Trust you will find the above in order.
