Msunduzi Municipality (no-one "works" here any longer)
More and more unscheduled electrical disruptions (not load-shedding). No power for 12 hours and counting and no-one on any of the municipal services fault lines (electricity, water, or sanitation) is answering their phones. I've tried four numbers sixteen times over the last six hours, including two supposedly "24-hour" numbers - no answer. The call centre number ***) has a recorded message then music, then the same recorded message, then music, etc. Sometimes the phone on the other end rings and is picked up and then immediately hung-up. The power failures are frustrating but trying to report the power faults is equally frustrating.

09 Nov 2020, 14:10This is still a problem. Power cuts yesterday afternoon and today (two hours yesterday, two hours today). Phoning the "Msunduzi Municipality Call Centre for Faults and Queries" (0800 number), I get the recorded welcome message, some music, recorded welcome message again, some more music, and then ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing with no answer.
