Good day
My name is Puseletso Ramalepe Stand No: 7301, Hulton Park, The Orchards, Pretoria. ID: 860 ********** 085 Cintact details: ********** Email: ********** MSP Gauteng Office.
I am writing to you with regards to damages to the obove mentioned property. This is causing stress and we are getting no resolution from the developer Multi Spectrum Property ( MSP) offices.
On the 12th of December 2018 between 13:00 and 14:00 PM, we went to the house stand number as stated above to collect the keys as the developer informed me that the house is ready for occupation. The meeting went well and everything in the house was in good condition. (Doors, bathroom and kitchen pipes, locks, all the windows and burglary proof) After the meeting during inspection with Mokoko Biemo, he contacted the office to request them to bring the outside plumbing pipes and the electricity meter box. After a few minutes though, two MSP workers came to the property with the meter box and outside plumbing pipes as directed by Mokoko Biemo. I signed and he handed the keys of the house to me. I immediately left and consequently the gentlemen also left.
The following day, on 13 December 2018 we visited the property again, but when we approached the main door there were signs of entry into the house. There was mud all over the floors, very messy, upon moving further into the house, we noticed that the electricity main switch was not in place, but was lying on the floor, the inside plumbing pipes of the kitchen and the bathroom have been removed. The burglary proof of the windows was also missing. The kitchen door was tampered with from the inside (damaged) and all the keys to the rooms in the house were missing.
We immediately contacted Itumeleng Jiyane, the MSP agent and informed him of the situation of the house. His response was that he is not available at the moment to assist and the office is currently closed, but everything which was damaged would be fixed, as they previously had similar incidents as this. Again we contacted Blessing and Keith they also did not help.
On the 14th of December 2018 we made arrangements with Itumeleng (the agent) to meet us at the house. Upon arrival we noticed he was already there, talking to the next door neighbour. She enquired from him what his purpose of visiting was as she saw some people with a MSP vehicle, drinking, though they looked professional and said they are coming to inspect the house. She rep**** by asking how inspection can be done after handing over the keys to the owners. Apparently they also had keys to the house. They further ignored the neighbour and left in a vehicle.
In January 2019 I contacted the MSP office to report the matter. An official with the name Dipuo advised us to first report this to the SAPS before her office can assist us. We so did, and the case number was given to her, she said the matter will be escalated to Palesa Seshabela as she is the relevant official dealing with such matters. We contacted Palesa and was again referred to Marcus Crous, and so he again referred us back to Palesa. This kind of service is unacceptable and unprofessional.
We kindly request the offices to resolve this matter as it is unacceptable to require from us to move into the house in its current position. What makes the matter worse, we did not even have the keys to the house for 24 hours and damages were stricken, apparently by MSP officials, who were not supposed to have access or entry to the house after the keys were handed over to me!
The surprising part is the house has been ready 5-6 months back while waiting for paper work and registration to take place there was never damages, but everything happend the same day i got the keys , how we you explain this.
Could you please assist regarding this matter, as house is currently in bad situation and not yet occupied because there is no water and electricity. The MSP Office is not giving us joy.
I will really appreciate your help.
Ms Puseletso Ramalepe
