R37000 to repair a R19000 laptop and the appalling customer service that comes with it

<p>Dearest MSI,</p> <p> </p> <p>I bought a laptop from gaming series 2 years ago, in that time I've had the HDD crash twice and had to deal with you local South African agent Partserve Sandton. Partserve has now recently after weeks of my laptop being with them quoted me R37000 to repair a laptop I bought for R19000. Apparently my problem grew from a HDD crash to a complete motherboard failure in the time it was at Partserve. </p> <p> </p> <p>Further to the above I had the not so rare oppurtunity (please see all the other complaints about Partserve) to experience Partserves appalling customer service. </p> <p> </p> <p>Needless to say I have now wasted R19000 on a MSI Gaming Laptop that is now probably unrepairable and my time and petrol. To anyone reading this whilst researching MSI Gaming Laptops don't buy one unless you are able to take out a prolonged warranty and/or have extreme amounts of patience.</p>
