Moved from Asus to MSI board as they are supposed to be the best value for money with great reliability.<br> <br> Used the new Z97 SLI Krait board for about a month and all of a sudden it would not boot after restarting.<br> <br> Machine is on a surge protector and a UPS and I have another server next to me on the same power line which did not go off at the time.<br> <br> Sent the board in and Titan Ice explained that MSI found an issue with the BIOS, which sounds fishy as the board did not even POST so a BIOS update would not be possible?<br> <br> Got the board back today and reloaded windows, mid way through it shut down and would not POST again.<br> <br> This is obviously a hardware issue and not a BIOS issue, and the MSI team obviously did not do much testing as this happened after 10 minutes of the board being on again.<br> <br> Not exactly the kind of thing that would have me go back to MSI or purchase any other components from them.
