Told one thing and confirmed another!!!!

I made a telephonic booking with a very helpful lady by the name of Given Mpondo who has since left the company. I requested a booking for 6 people. There was an option of a family room for 4 and then an additional room for 2 people. She worked it out and weighed up the pros and cons and suggested that we went for 3 separate rooms but all together so we at least have our privacy.

The booking was made and paid for in full. What a pleasure

I then in October found out that two of the cabins are together as requested but the third cabin which happens to be mine is on the other end of the ship. This is just not acceptable to me. I have called a number of times since then and keep getting told they will escalate this and get it sorted out. I know our conversations are recorded so you are more than welcome to go back on the original conversations with Given as proof of what she offered me and my acceptance there of. I was called today to confirm that their is nothing they can do about it. Well I can of course cancel and lose money and disappoint my kids or do what MSC are expecting me to do and that is "just accept it". No much of a choice is i? I am totally unimpressed that I have forked out this amount of money and they cannot even get a cabin right. Was very excited, now just frustrated and very disappointed.
