pre authorization on card

i cruised with msc sinfonia. on my arrival in the boat i loaded 3000 on my cruise card. i used 1000 of that on my cruise.

when we disenbarked on friday morning it was made clear by personnel that the money that i did not use will be debited back into my card within 24 hours. nothing was debited.

i phoned msc this morning to hear when it will be debited and they said only in 27 days.
