Good day I just want to find out something. We made a booking in 2019 for the Oppiwater Arts Festival. Booking from Cape Town to Namibia. Then Lockdown came and we could not do the trip, so the boat is postponed every time until Jan 2022. We had to pay for it the original amount for 2 people sharing R 19590.00 It was payable January 2020. From January 2020 to January 2022, you should have deducted interest on our money. With those who sailed the boat in January 2022, my husband and I had to pay another R2612.00 by the 22nd of November 2021 to confirm our booking. My sons did even pay more. And after everything has been booked, we all look forward to our long-awaited Cape Town - Namibia trip, of which we booked 3 Cabins. And a week before the trip we get a letter saying we are not going to Namibia anymore but Port Elizabeth. It had been a great disappointment. And at the end of the day, it costs me and my husband R22202.00 to go to Port Elizabeth. I feel that we were not given a choice. I feel you can compensate us and give us a repay portion of the R22202.00 we had to pay. And, the last day we were on the boat we had to get up early to be 7h00 off the boat. And we are all greeted with an ice-cold shower. The food was not on standard. I really feel after so many months of waiting to go on the boat trip, we could have gotten much better treatment. It was not one of us who was on the boat's fault that lockdown came, and the trip had to be postponed. So, I hope I will hear from you soon.
