No change of cruise no refund

I booked an MSC cruise for 13 March 2023 to Italy from Durban Port. The booking was for me, my wife and my 14-year-old son. On the day of departure, we were stopped from boarding because we were told my son is not fully vaccinated. All documentation we received from MSC never clearly specified what is needed for Vaccinations. All other correspondence was in detail except for Vaccination for a 14-year-old. But at Port, the officer presented us with a detailed policy clearly stating the requirements for each age group. This document was only used at their embarkation Port

They stopped us and said that we should not worry we will be moved to a different date and cruise. We should wait for them to contact us.

On 18 March 2023, we received an email from MSC saying that our case is regarded as a no-show and that out of goodwill they will only refund us for port charges and service fees which is R25029.00 out of the R75000 we paid in full for the cruise. Also, no mention is made of moving us to another date to cruise. In our cruise booking, we have 1 cruise move that we can use. But the option is not available now.
