MSC South Africa Cruise, What a Waste of Money

Realizing this review will only help venting my frustration and will not influence anybody looking at going on a MSC South Africa cruise. Booked a 4 day cruise from Durban to Pomene and to say the least this was a massive waste of money and time. Started with boarding which took ages, then finding our cabin which looked like a *** sty. If you don’t mind waiting in endless queues for everything, from elevators to food, this is a cruise for you. We were booked to go to Pomene but all of a sudden there were “technical” issues with the transfer boats on the day. Transfers start at 6 in the morning until 12 in the afternoon, we were ticket number 33 and at 11 o’clock they were only at ticket number 10, we gathered that technical issues actually means incompetence. Do not even try to find a “manager” to get clarity, and if you do they will only look at you, smile and say “you are welcome”, pathetic. In summary, over crowded, dirty, atrocious service and just all round awful.
