MSC Passengers beware of using your credit card as you will be riped off

I have already written a review about MSC Starlight Cruises, and read other reviews but things are getting worse and worse.

My bank has confirmed that the almost R5000 deducted from my credit card in the name of MSC was ***** but do not state f it was MSC or hacking.

However I have now received a full statement from MSC and most seems to be correct except my hospital visit which was initially sms,d to me as R1844,01 but is now R3646 ( for less than an hour and a drip). They state that you cannot use the sms as this is just an indication. I have already claimed the R1844 from my travel insurance and now have to convince them that this is wrong. They also state that a the amount to be deducted from my bank credit card will only be confirmed in 15 to 20 working days . What is more concerning is that they initially deduct USD150 from your credit card for your MSC cruise card. But as you spend money on the ship they do not deduct if from the USD 150, they start a new account for you. And to make it worse for every USD you spend they deduct USD 100 from your credit card. So you spend an extra USD 1 over the initial USD 150 and they deduct another USD100. Not bad for MSC but very bad for the passengers Whilst the cruises might be cheap MSC certainly know how to rip you off. When you order a drink from a waiter there is a service charge of USD0,66 on top of what you pay for your drink. So get your own tea, coffee and drinks yourself.
