Msc , Never again

We were on the musica cruise from Durban to portuguese islands from 1.2.19-4.2.19. This was the first and probably the last time. We paid for easy on board and we skipped the queues until it was time to actually board the ship , where we had to wait with other passengers who had not paod for easy on board. When we eventually got on the ship, we were not sure what to do next as there were no instructions and just a whole lot of chaos. We eventually saw the signs to collect our drinks packages that we had pre-booked(even though we were told that the bre-booked vouchers would be delivered to our cabin at the time of booking ) & we had to wait in a long queue ! Also our we were told that our cabin was not yet ready and also that our bags had not yet arrived. We then decided to go for lunch in the cafeteria , which was chaos as well . The food was ok not great , some things were tasteless. We waited for our cabin for aboit two hours and they announced it was ready right before sailing durban. Got tp cabin , no bags, we were told we have to wait till 8pm and if we have not received our bags by then we should check at reception. By this time we were tired , we had been traveling from cape town early the same morning and needed our bags to refresh. Our bags arrived two hours later! The amount of people on the ship made it feel over-crowded . The food in the cafeteria was the same every day. The menu did not change at all. Also when we booked we selected the first seating for dinner only to find that they had pushed us to the second seating which was only at 8.30pm. The portuguese island excursion was ok, although it was extremely hot on the island and directions on where to go for the excursions were not clear. The day before we disenmbarked we werree told that we should leave our luggage outside the cabin and only keep our hand luggage and change of clothing with us. This meant that we basically had to pack everything in our luggage shower the night before and only keep with us the clothes we were going to use the next day. On the morning of disembarkation we woke up to a bill under our door - which was strange as we had not used our card to purchase anything as we had used pre- booked vouchers for all our drinks. When I went to query this at reception desk the woman had such a bad attitude and I was told I needed to wait until 7.30 ( 2hours) until the casino manager was available to assist me , I waited until 6 then had to stand in a very long queue akd got to the desk told a different lady the same story she walked away while I was still talking to her and came back said nothing then after a while just told me its done,no explanation and no apologies. All I wanted to do at that point was get off that ship , this was the first and the last time I will cruise with msc . Not at all worth it.
