MSC Money Grabbers!!!!

This is a rather mixed review... The cruise was fantastic (as they always are) but there is 1 extremely disappointing thing which i feel should be changed. Onboard you have the option to link your credit card to your room card.. making it easier to transact onboard and when the time comes to disembark, they debit your credit card (seems like a great idea).... however the 'fine' print is ridiculous and where they catch you... MSC make an initial $150.00 USD debit to secure money.. and debit additional as it goes.. however this is where they ***** you... because when the time comes to take your money - they do another debit from your credit card (for the full amount) and DO NOT use the money debited throughout the cruise... the $150 or more which means they are NOW double debiting your credit cards.. they then go a step further and "claim" to refund the holding money 21 working days after your cruise!! 21 days -- this is an absolute joke - how much money are MSC making from that "little" investment. (rough maths) $150 x 1000 pax = $150K USD... 4 - 5 cruises a month... and take that over 1 month -- close to $500KUSD or more?

I am now more than a month since i disembarked off my cruise and an yet to receive my refund and what's worse is the absolutely poor and pathetic customer service you receive when calling into query this... "Its in the fine print" is all they can say to you and "we cannot assist and you need to email us". !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is absolutely disgusting and really makes me rethink any further cruises with MSC. I would rather take my money elsewhere...
