Msc Cruises South Africa - refuses to refund

Due to the covid19 virus Msc cancelled my cruise alongside other people's as well.

To replace the cancelled cruise they offer you a voucher for the next season cruise which is only valid until 18 April 2021.

I understand that n covid-19 is an pandemic but claming force majeure is a bad move.

I can not use the voucher as I will only be able to get leave again in May 2021(as stated in my letter to msc)(with supporting documents from my employer).

Even with my supporting documents they just refuse to refund me.

They are getting all the benefits as my money that I paid for a cruise is sitting very nicely in their bank for the last 5 months and receiving interest but they can not be held liable for anything due to force majeure circumstances.

I have lost all my convidence in Msc and the way they handled this situation.

I am very disappointed and angry that this is how the can go about business.
