Incorrect advice/feedback and no repercussion to MSC

Granted that these cruises expense at dollar rates, I felt it appropriate to ensure before the time what I needed to budget for. The Call Centre agent clearly stipulated that we did not have to buy drink packages as there were soda dispensers on board the cruise liner. Therefore I was not concerned about it further. Once we embarked, I realised there were no such soda dispensers and we need to purchase 46$ worth of sodas due to incorrect information. Now, the CCC takes no responsibility for the advice given and the fact that I had not budgeted for this expense given the feedback. I asked the question twice to the CCC about the drinks just to make sure whereupon the answer was - sodas were readily available on the cruise liner.
