Cruise full of bad surprises

<p>My family and I recently embarked on a cruise on the MSC Sinfonia. Unfortunately, the experience was dominated by the one unpleasant surprise after the other. Firstly, they claim that kids cruise free. They don't. We had to pay a significant amount extra for taking 2 babies (under 2yrs of age) because we were in a "four-person cabin". This cabin is exactly the same size as a "2 person cabin" with the exeption of 2 bunk beds collapsing out of the walls. They provided us with no cots for the babies to sleep in, and my wife and I ended up sleeping up in the bunk beds with the kids in the double bed. Why did we need to pay so much more if kids cruise for free, for a room exactly the same size as our fellow travellers? Secondly, they advertise the cruise as 4 nights and 5 days. But it is in fact 4 nights and 3 and a half days. They don't tell you that you will only get on the ship at about 14:30 and on the last day, you need to leave your cabin at 06:00 in the moring and disembark at 07:00. Thirdly, the customer service on the ship is a bit lacking, with queues at the reception desk with a waiting time of at least 30 min for most of the day. All in all, I was disappointed with the experience and will definitely never go on another cruise again, and never recommend it to anyone else.</p>
