Compulsory drinks packages

I'm boarding the Splendida in December. Myself and my friend. Same booking, different rooms. I don't drink, she drinks. I was told now by a consultant that it is compulsory that I book the same drinks package and that evens if I book a package and she doesn't want a package I have to book a package for her as well. So basically because it is the same booking, different rooms, whatever is done for the one passenger needs to be done for the other passenger. Please can someone clarify this for me because there is no mention on this on the terms and conditions or direct me to where I can find this clause please.
