Booking experience a disaster

I booked a cruise for our family of 4 adults leaving Dubai 17 December 2016. I was told that we had guaranteed cabins and that cabin numbers had not been allocated but that our bookings would be linked to ensure that we were close to each other and the agent would keep an eye on this! When I requested our e tickets I noticed that we were on deck 11 and our sons on deck 5. The explanation was that we were upgraded! What a joke! Our cabin is slightly smaller than our sons! After many e mails and telephone discussions, I have still had no joy! Just a word of warning! Don't book guaranteed cabins! Nothing is guaranteed! And this isn't explained to you! The call centre is a joke! Make sure that you have time on your hands and hope and pray that you don't get disconnected!

Reviewer Update

I received our e tickets this morning and we are now on deck 8 and 11. This is a bit better but I still don't know what route to follow to ensure that when you book as a family that you are at least on the same deck.
